Day 3 in Arlington

Here's a few snapshots from the Arlington trip. This would be Thursday the 12th.

Does my hair look ok?

Ahh! Bath time!

Sister helping comb my hair out.

Just hanging out with Tia!

We went for a walk and Aery started a stick collection. Cameron napped most of the time.

This is after a couple ounces of bottle. He TOTALLY passed out and I just laid him across my lap and pillow next to me on the sofa for a few minutes.

Cameron wearing his pj's Poppy picked out.
Oh and he's signing "I Love You!"

Day 2 in Arlington

We took a trip to IKEA in Frisco. We had lots of fun! Started with lunch in the restaurant, then through some of the showrooms, then the market place for some shopping!

Of course the food was yummy! ( Look familiar? It's because you've seen it HERE.)

(Except I can't get the cake at home, sadly.)

You have to understand that Aery has tended to find EVERY pair of scissors in their house and cut her hair at one time or another and another. She was so excited to see an entire bin of scissors!!

Shopping at IKEA is hard work! All passed out!

This is how the evening ended up, nice and relaxed.

More photos to come later!

Day 1 in Arlington

Here's some photos of the first day in Arlington visiting Cheyanne, Aaron, Lizzy, Aery, and Cameron.

This is Tues., Feb. 10th. I flew in to Dallas Love Field and then we drove to the house in Arlington. I wasn't able to get my hands on Cameron until we got to the house. This photo is a replica of one I have of me holding Aery when I first flew up to meet her. If I can find it back at home I'll post it later.

Tia & Cameron

This one was too sweet not to post. He was just staring at me trying to figure out who I was I think.

Here's just a few more random photos from that day.
Aery and Cam

All snuggled before a nap.

What a fun day!

Salmon and Wild Rice

Just a quick post since the plane should be arriving soon for me to fly up to my sister's house. Next few posts might just be photos during the trip of my nieces and nephew.

Dinner Monday night: Salmon with a glaze and wild rice with edamame.

This was a recipe from Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine for March in the weekly menu plan. We both really enjoyed it.

Glaze: brown sugar, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and pepper
Rice: lemon juice and zest
